FAQs
-
Health Canada recommends mitigating if the radon gas levels are over 200 bq/m3.
-
After the system gets installed, a radon test is placed to verify the results. A constant radon monitor is used to take readings every hour, for two days. These testers are very accurate. They will generate a report for us to compare the homes before and after readings.
-
The system itself does not require any maintenance. We guarantee the installation for one year. The mitigation fan has a manufacturers warranty of five years.
-
The noise you can expect from the exhaust port is comparable to the sound of the exhaust from your clothes dryer. The fan itself has a sound level which is a similar decibel level of a refrigerator. During installation we install measures to help reduce the sound. To ensure the sound is minimized, we carefully consider the point of exhaust from the home.
